NO MARQUES LAS HORAS."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>De los muchos relojes p\u00fablicos que marcan la hora en las fachadas de Barcelona,uno entre ellos es especialmente singular. Se halla sobre la puerta de un taller de autom\u00f3viles en el n\u00famero 105 de la avenida de Roma. Y es singular porque debe tratarse del \u00fanico reloj montado sobre la escultura de un sif\u00f3n y que no deja indiferente a nadie que se percate de \u00e9l.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/historiasdelahistoria.rodmar.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/IMG_20190731_200509.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1076\" width=\"435\" height=\"563\"\/><figcaption>AV. DE ROMA,105.<br>FOTO:GLORIX.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Este peculiar sif\u00f3n relojero es un antiguo reclamo publicitario de la f\u00e1brica Pu\u00e9rtolas. Fue instalado en 1960 para marcar el horario de los trabajadores de la planta de bebidas carbonatadas,muy populares en Barcelona hasta la irrupci\u00f3n de las marcas de refrescos llegadas de Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La f\u00e1brica fue fundada por los hermanos Francisco y Santiago Pu\u00e9rtolas,que a finales del siglo XIX llegaron a Barcelona desde Huesca. Ambos encontraron trabajo en una empresa de gaseosas y sifones en la calle Aribau y que al cabo de un tiempo acabaron adquiriendo por 5.000 pesetas de la \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fue el hijo de Francisco,Agust\u00ed,quien a finales de los a\u00f1os 40 del siglo pasado compr\u00f3 el local de la avenida de Roma y cambi\u00f3 el nombre de la f\u00e1brica por G\u00e9iser,el sif\u00f3n icono de la compa\u00f1\u00eda,que a\u00fan sigue comercializ\u00e1ndose. Su caracter\u00edstica botella verde es la que reproduce la escultura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/historiasdelahistoria.rodmar.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/IMG_20190731_200604.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1077\" width=\"395\" height=\"420\"\/><figcaption>EL RELOJ SIF\u00d3N DE G\u00c9ISER.<br>FOTO:GLORIX.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Agust\u00ed Pu\u00e9rtolas fue un adelantado en materia de m\u00e1rketing. Adem\u00e1s de instalar el reclamo en la fachada,manten\u00eda una flota de una cincuentena de camiones que circulaban por la ciudad distribuyendo el sif\u00f3n G\u00e9iser. Los veh\u00edculos llevaban la marca impresa en la carrocer\u00eda,convirti\u00e9ndose en eficaces anuncios rodantes. En la d\u00e9cada de los 60,la compa\u00f1\u00eda adquiri\u00f3 su actual nombre,Sanmy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La planta,que fue una de las m\u00e1s importantes del sector,ya no est\u00e1 en la avenida de Roma. Fue trasladada hace unas d\u00e9cadas a Terrassa.
