En el a\u00f1o 2011 y como consecuencia de las obras del AVE,se descubrieron los restos de una villa romana datada entre los siglos I y VI d. C.,que paralizaron dichas obras durante casi cuatro a\u00f1os,hasta que se tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n de \u00abtrasladar\u00bb todos los restos que se pudieron recuperar y documentar aquellos que terminaron bajo capas de hormig\u00f3n al retomar las obras del AVE. Quince siglos de historia desmantelados para siempre en aras del progreso (y el escaso inter\u00e9s por invertir en historia)…lo cual me hace reflexionar sobre la estupidez humana y la falta de sensibilidad con nuestra propia historia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Durante largo tiempo se estudi\u00f3 la posibilidad de su conservaci\u00f3n y coexistencia con la futura estaci\u00f3n de La Sagrera aunque al final se opt\u00f3 por la posibilidad m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mica para ADIF,Generalitat y Ayuntamiento de Barcelona,su destrucci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FASES DE LA VILLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FASE 1: Siglo I a. C. Restos de muros previos que no pertenecen a la villa romana sino a alg\u00fan tipo de edificaci\u00f3n anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FASE 2: Siglos I y II d. C. De esta \u00e9poca se han encontrado los muros de la vivienda romana y un hipocausto (sistema de calefacci\u00f3n del suelo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FASE 3: Siglo IV d. C. En este per\u00edodo se hicieron reformas en la vivienda y se ampli\u00f3 el patio. Se sabe que una habitaci\u00f3n se paviment\u00f3 con m\u00e1rmol por los restos de mortero encontrados,pero \u00e9ste se debi\u00f3 expoliar hace siglos. Se construye un peque\u00f1o estanque y el edificio anexo con un gran patio central y un p\u00f3rtico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FASE 4: Per\u00edodo por determinar. Se cubre el patio central y se crea la zona de ba\u00f1os para uso privado. Es el lugar donde se encontr\u00f3 el mosaico que debi\u00f3 pertenecer al vestidor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FASE 5: Per\u00edodo por determinar. Se deja de utilizar la zona de ba\u00f1os y el patio norte se empieza a usar con fines industriales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
